I do not appreciate having to spend $70 plus dollars on 2nd day delivery and it coming 5 days later because of Gateway not authorizing a weekend delivery. I paid $70 for 2nd day not 5 Day!

After I cancelled part of my order, I didn't receive an updated invoice, consequently, I still don't know exactly what my final bill will be. I'd like to find out, but didn't want to go through the hassle of waiting on the phone or filling out an online request. (more)

I took an extended warranty with this company right after buying my new laptop,original founder of Gateway owned it then, and, after several attempts to repair it, they replaced it, first having me sign a contract that I accepted the replacement I was about to receive, as payment in full for my old laptop, I selected the one of the 3 they offered, then their sneaky bomb fell on me. First, the operating system, Windows Vista Home, was incompatible with over $2,000 of software and hardware I own; next, because I was given a refurbished laptop, I wasn't allowed to access the Gateway website for updates; then, when the DVD drive fell apart with my 6th use of the laptop, they took 3 weeks to repair... I found my shopping experience on Gateway to be pleasent over all. I was able to find what I needed there and the prices were in line with other sites that I visited. I would use Gateway again in the future.

I checked status online and it said it was processing. Then it arrived unexpectly (not complaining but surprised - it was great to get it earlier than expected).

All that I wanted or needed was there on the computer format, right in front of me. All was easy to look up when I did need to find pricing and delivery charges (they did not apply). I had a very special shopping treat, no problems.
Also, when merchandise was received, all inventory was correct, actually, I received some odd paper clips Free.
I like the fact they stand behind their merchandise without a whole lot of Jazz.

I bought a camera and was very pleased with the product and the price. It was a closeout being discontinued. About a year later It broke and after a brief e-mail exchange I was sent another camera at no cost. It has been 6 years now and I use this camera a lot. It is a great product, great price, great company. I recently bought a Gateway Computer from Best Buy and it has been incredibly user friendly and trouble free. (more)

I had bought a gateway desktop computer.. amultimedia computer which cost us almost $3000 and Ive had to have the processor and motherboard 2 times and the hard drives 3 times just recently. I never had this much trouble with a computer this expensive in my life which Ive been dealing with computers for a very long time. I am very disappointed in Gateway. They also start your warranty from the day that you order it which I think is wrong due to the fact I had many many delays on this one and also unlike Dell they cheat you out of a year of extended warranty. Dell gives you a total of 4 years since the first year is automatic but Gateway does it the wrong way.Thyer only give you 3 total even... (more)
