If the refurbished product I bought had worked properly, I would have rated everything as excellent (well, probably wouldn't have needed to talk with customer service and so on).

The item was very poorly packaged and to make matters worse the UPS delivery person just rang the door bell and I saw him drop the box on the ground which could have caused damage to the drive.

Only problem was I don't think the delivery service rang the door bell. They left it by the door with a plastic bag covering it so the rain didn't get the package wet.

I was surprised that when registering my mac book pro with apple care extended warranty, Apple was unable to identify my computer as one of their own. They said that the serial number was not valid/or could not be found in their data base.

These people need some common sense! They completely screwed up my free engraving on my ipod touch, unbelievably stupid!!..upset customer.
