DELL MAKES IT SO VERY EASY TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR PERSONAL OR OFFICE USE. THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES AND IT ALL SEEMS TO CREATE THE PERFECT PC FOR US.

I got my computer fine, but later learned they'd sold me something I didn't need. Support was OK, but basically ineffective (I shouldn't have had to call at all - it was a NEW computer!). And be aware - when your warranty expires, so does your support. If you go to the Dell site, you can't even contact them after expiration. (more)

I had a hard time accessing the site. It kept comming up that my username was incorrect. Finally, I only wanted two cartridges, but ended up with 5, which I was charged for. So, it wasn't the greatest experience.I will try using again.

I recently purchased a memory upgrade from Dell. Since I own a Dell laptop it was incredibly easy to find what I was looking for. All I had to do was enter my laptop model and I got a list of any relevant content and in that was a list of hardware and upgrades. The whole search process took about three minutes. I had looked for the same upgrades online and in local stores and with shipping Dell beat my best price bu $30. And even thought they sent me an email saying that the part was out of stock and would be delayed, I still got it in two days. I will definitely use them again. (more)

I will NEVER NEVER buy another thing from Dell. My computer was a lemon from day one and customer support STINKS. There is NO upside here. Computers are TOO expensive to risk on a company who seems to have NO INTEREST in fullfilling their end of things such as standing behind their products. Instead I was foisted off to India where it was EXTREMELY difficult for me to understand just what they were trying to tell me to do. When I complained about this I was told that I could PAY for a phone consult with someone I could understand!! Even when my computer was BRAND NEW and still on warranty!!! I've since nullified the warranty by having to pay someone else local to fix the issues for me. In another... (more)

I bought a desktop (Inspiron 530) on line and was very satisfied with the process. I would have been more satisfied if shipping had been free. Delivery was as expected and nothing was damaged in shipping. I didn't understand the differences in the many versions Dell offers so I had to ask an IT geek to help me decide what I wanted. I don't think I would have had as happy an experience if I had to choose myself. (more)

I found what I wanted only to find out I could not get that one, I ordered a similar notebook and when it arrived it did not work, it took 3 different people to finally get the warranty covered and the notebook fixed. They would not even take a return of an item that never worked from day one. I had a terrible time getting it fixed, but it is and hopefully I won't have to do that again. I was coerced into purchasing other items also. If they had better customer support after the sale they might be a good company, but like so many today, they drop the ball once the sale is made. I was purchasing printer ink cartridges. There weren't enough choices on the package deals. In my opinion, pricing is high for the deals. Delivery time was great. I received the order within a few days. The site is a little cumbersome - you have to go through several areas to get to anything. There should be more quick links. Overall though, this is a good site to use and I would recommend it with little reservation. (more)

The printer was as advertised and delivered on time. The footprint was larger than I had understood it to be, but it fit within the office area that I had. I was pleased with the results.
