Pros: Image Stabilization in hand! IMAGE STABILZATION! IMAGE STABILZATION IN HAND! Live View and deep color/photos; 2 lens kit, a new 70-300mm lens just came out last month for it as well. This camera will hypnotize you into wanting to do more and more. Ex
Cons: I can confirm that on one occasion in about 1,500 photos so far the auto-focus didn't lock. However, it did right before that and right after that one incident. I was taking a photo of water and not head on I think it just got confused for a second.

Pros: Gorgeous colors/photos, lightweight body, inbody image stabilization, small light kit lenses (the 40-150 zoom is smaller/lighter than many other competitors standard kit zoom), easy for a novice to use yet the Pro features and adjustments are at your
Cons: On the rare occasion it won't lock the focus (even if it's close per the viewfinder), it won't take the picture unless you move it to complete manual.
